Should Saddam go?

Residents of Baghdad woke up to the sounds of explosions as cruise missiles and precision bombs started slamming into select targets in the Iraqi capital early Thursday.

While the US and its allies are insistent that the attack is only aimed at neutralising Hussein's chemical and biological weapons, the rest of the international community isn't all that convinced.

Can and should democracy be established by force?
