'I was recently in Barbados for the cricket World Cup 2007. Whilst in Barbados I had the privilege of meeting Sir Garfield Sobers,' writes Gaurav.

'He had come down to Cave Shepards, which is a popular retail outlet in Barbados, to promote his rum (Coskspur Garfield Sobers Rum), and his autobiography.'

'He was kind enough to spend a couple of minutes with me and allow me to take a picture with him. I would like to share with other rediff readers my experience with the greatest cricketer of all time.'
